Thoughts of a Grey- headed Pigeon.

“I’m unique with my white body and grey head
But i do eat the same bread.

Wherever my eyes go ,
I see my fellow greys and whites,
Somehow my appearance matter to them more than the light’s.

Somehow I’m both but none,
Somehow I feel like an alien.

Although I’m just like them,
Yet so un-like them.

I know there is a difference,
All i wish for is acceptance.

Although I have same traits,
Which the society rejects.

They are blinded by the myth of appearance,
All I wish for is acceptance.”
